It is difficult for me to call it a favorite, because the power that can be squeezed out of it in Single Ended for Dzie\u0144 Dobry imposes a lot of restrictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The type of speakers, repertoire, listening volume &#8211; 300B can be nice to pull the loudspeakers 'not under the lamp&#8217;, but usually only at low volume levels. For pop \/ rock it is usually too slim, it has too little meat &#8230; and we will not play it loudly because there is little power and the louder the greater the distortion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, I was very interested in Audion monoblocks &#8211; there are four power lamps here, but in Parallel Single Ended, so we have 18W in A class &#8211; and this already gives a much more room for maneuver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The process of making things have always been the primary way that I am able to process, and understand the world<\/p>\n<cite>Albert Flores<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"audion-silver-night-mk2-sound\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audion Silver Night MK2: Sound<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If someone associates the 300B with a velvety, pastel, soft sound, after plugging in an Audion it may be very surprising. These monoblocks sound very neutral, even, transparent. The dynamics and speed for the 300B lamp is great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sound is open, contoured, thin-line. The great microdynamics is also noteworthy, but also a very nice diameter &#8211; there are really many colors and shades, although at times they lack a bit of weight. Seeming sources are rather small, very well arranged on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tested the Audios as the power amplifiers themselves (they have potentiometers and can work as integrals), as well as with Audio Note M1, M2, Haiku Iris, and Conrad Johnson PV12 preamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was closest to playing with Haiku Iris and CJ PV12 &#8211; both complement the middle a bit. Iris slightly adds pastel and calm, CJ stretches the band, adds a kick, slightly weights the sounds and adds it to a larger scale. With AN, it is a bit too bright regardless of the lamps tested. At least in my system and on my ear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, the Audion seems to be the perfect companion for the loudspeaker with a slightly fuller, warmer style. He played fantastically with monitors from Australia &#8211; Duntech Esquire D100. Dynamics, attack, diameter, detail &#8211; everything was better than, for example, in the 70W EAR 890 on 8 KT88 lamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, the EAR was fantastically filling and driving KEF Reference 205, and Audion was not able to give the sound of the body in any way. He played irritatingly with the upper diameter and was a compulsory unbearable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silver Night in combination with Conrad Johnson, however, pulls the most 87-90db efficiencies I have had. Already such specrale 913.1 controls perfectly &#8211; even quite loud and gives them an amazing class and colors. Rzadko jakie\u015b s\u0142absze realizacje dra\u017cni\u0105, za to te dobre potrafi\u0105 zabrzmie\u0107 w spos\u00f3b naprawd\u0119 kompleny.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"audion-silver-night-mk2-summary\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audion Silver Night MK2: Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, Audion is actually the best I&#8217;ve ever had at home. This is not an amplifier for everything, but as I wrote at the beginning &#8211; the 300B lamp is not for everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, the 18W in the A-class with the 300B in the Parallel SE system gives you a lot of fun. It is the best in the triode &#8211; a thin line, timbre, but also great dynamics and neutrality.<br><br>In combination with slightly warmer columns, it gives a fantastic spectacle.
