Hence<strong>They generate more power, but also more distortions<\/strong>. More power allows you to better control modern speakers and give the listener more the proverbial kick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most common devices are on KT88 lamps (recently more popular its KT120, KT150), EL34, 6500 variants. 4xEL34 <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"push-pull-tube-amplifier-sound\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Push-pull tube amplifier sound.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The vast majority of the amplifiers I have had the opportunity to have or listen to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Much thicker line &#8211; instruments, vocals are bigger, thicker and less precisely located on the stage than in the case of Single Ended<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>They perform better in a slightly stronger repertoire<\/strong>, many of them will do great in chamber and jazz music, but they are usually a step behind the singles in these aspects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thanks to more power, they feel better in large rooms and with louder listening<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They work better when the loudspeakers are farther from the listener<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They have better macro dynamics, more kick, more energy and juice in sound, but worse microdynamics and insight into the recording<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"B&amp;W DM6 + EAR 834L + Cary CAD300B + DIY DAC - Mix\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PRobhyrF95o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; 6C33C &#8211; pushPull<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"who-is-the-push-pull-tube-amplifier-for\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is the Push-Pull tube amplifier for:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You like to listen to music at different volume levels, including loud<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have played on transistors so far, and you would like to get better sound in a similar budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Listen to different repertoire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have columns (88-91dB) that need more electricity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A good diameter counts for you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have a larger size: 30 square meters and more needs much more power to fill the room with appropriate sound pressure, the exception may be rooms in which we have loudspeakers placed close to the listener, or large tube transducers with high efficiency &#8211;
