A few words about Sun Audio SV-2A3
The amplifier comes from the collection of Wojtek aka Szatan, probably the most famous audiophile in Poland named Wojciech – and certainly from the younger generation of audiophiles. 🙂
After all, who of us has not ever seen on Allegro, OLX or the HiFi market of tempting equipment from Drezdenko? Everyone saw it, but hardly anyone wanted to go so far. It’s a pity, because with one approach you can broaden your audio-perspectives very much.
Sun Audio is a very simple amplifier, which is what works best in lamps without 2 sentences. In addition, it is equipped with a very good tamura trafa. Are these the best for 2A3? They are not, just as there are no trafonika, neither Lundhal nor Ogonowski – until one of them squeezes out the max with a good design.
Many people think they can, but in fact, most people just copy a schematic from the net on random components and it comes out differently.

Especially that the amplifier is modified by Piotr 2A3_Fan aka Audio Illuminati. Piotr knows resistors, condy, etc. – he has beaten some absurd amounts. Sun has Kondy Audio Note, Black Gate, NOS 2A3 RCA lamps, 6SN7 GE, so it’s essentially simple, but grazing.

Damn what am I going to write. This amplifier is on the one hand extremely neutral and many would say that the transistor is playing. There is actually no typical sweetness here, a pierdyliard of sweets AlLine Magneticor cheap 300B constructions. There are no averages of ala jadis, artificial sound loading.
Sun Audio just plays evenly in every band. It has one of the best, if not the best, tops – full of sparkles, microdetails, murmurs and smoothness at the same time.
It has an amazing three-dimensional in the game, as you imagine reading in the review that it should be, and you never have it and you are chasing it for acoustics or cables.
He has an amazing naturalness and the ability to convey and record and emotions and maintain the proportions of the instruments.
We experience music on it as we see the world after washing the windows. The only difference is that we do not feel the glass and the frame.
Sun plays directly but with class and moderation. It perfectly balances between sharpness, clarity, claw when necessary, and smoothness, color and sweetness.
Combined with the appropriate loudspeakers in a relatively close listening field, it is actually the beginning and end of the road. After him, nothing will play like that anymore and it is difficult to admire anything after him.
I realized that that’s probably why I liked my Audion so much – it’s the closest to what I had just Suna, it just has a lot more power (3.5W vs. 18W Audion), which makes it more universal. There is no such spectacular mountain, but in general it is very close and adds something extra in the form of a larger headroom, which gives more versatility.

Sun Audio is 3.5W. Your first thought – er, but I don’t have such speakers, they must be 100dB.
And the best thing you can do is plug in, for example, ATC SCM40 or SCM50 and see how fucking you are wrong 🙂
We listened to Sun Audio from JMLAB Alcor (about 30K on the secondary market, one of the best Focals Ever), with ATC SCM50 (25K on the aftermarket, about 63K for a pair of new85dB of efficiency) at home I plugged in Tannoy Glenair,Audiophase FlowAnd … everything goes.
Diameter, bass, dynamics, three-dimensional, macrodynamics, microdynamics – everything is really, very high.
The famous Wojtek himself says that he simply prefers it to Halcro monoblocks.

Summation
Sun Audio is a gem. If you are from the generation that audio equipment buys in Łódź, or you have to eatChinese soupcalled Line Magnetic, Yaqin for financial reasons – know that apart from the world you know, there is also a better world. Vifona can be replaced with SHUSHI when you are saturated with monosodium glutamate.
And now it’s not that everyone has to like Shushi, because I know there are those who won’t like it.
Sun Audio is, however, some natural and at the same time natural andreal.
It connects your brain to a color, emotional, stage message and does not allow it to break out. Even if it hurts sometimes 🙂
But it’s not that if you already have awesome sushi, you won’t want to eat something from English, Italian, French or Polish one day.
Sun will not be a universal amplifier for everything, although in this role it will work better than 95% of what is on the market. 2A3 is not a rock lamp or poorly made music. She gives back what your artist has the best to convey.
If it’s noise and energy, it’s not the address.
If you see the performance in the vocal and you want to have weight on the plates by the cello played solo … This is the direction in which you can sell your Passat, jump on a bike and buy a tube amplifier.
If you collect audio equipment, it is worth having such a sun as a reference point and consider 2x whether this new one is a good direction.

Sun Audio was also created in Kits and was generally a dumped amplifier almost always. Before you sell your passeratti and take your hard-earned Władysława Jagiełło to someone, I suggest you be ready for it, listen to it.
