An Evening with Analog – Independent Blog about Audio
I am looking for outstanding sound and interesting design. From Hi-End to old vintage classics. I have gone through the phase of a “pelican” swallowing everything from forums and Facebook, and now I try to help others avoid the traps I and my friends fell into. Less about cables and voodoo, more about specifics – tubes, speakers, sources – the things that truly matter.
Close to 10 years, during which I have assembled several hundred systems. Dozens of pairs of speakers, dozens of amplifiers. The goal – music, fun, and new friendships.
Passion should bring people together, so I hope you’ll find something here for yourself. If you’re looking for help and have had enough of reading, I also invite you to audio-architect.eu – thanks to this, the site can operate without ads, and you’ll save yourself disappointments 😉

Opinions on Speakers, Comparisons
I believe it is much easier and cheaper to achieve good sound with a tube amplifier and speakers that don’t require as much power as many modern designs. That’s why I test various tube solutions. There have probably been dozens of models, and more posts will appear over time.
Stereo Tube Amplifiers and More
You could say that tube amplifiers are my specialty, I’ve “worked through” most of the well-known brands like Audio Note, Luxman, Jadis, EAR, Sun Audio, Verdier, Line Magnetic. Triodes, pentodes, Push-Pull, Single-End.
Vinyl, Analog, Turntables
Reviews of vintage turntables. Soon, I will also cover MM and MC cartridges such as Ortofon (Rohman, Cadenza, Windfeld, 2M Black, Bronze, OM), Audio Technica, Denon, and many others, Phono preamps, and SUT.
