A few words about the recently popular streamer.
I had it in my paws for a week, though, some time ago-but only today I got ready to translate it into text.

In fact, this is usually the case when I don’t have too much enthusiasm for a particular product.
Owners can enjoy themselves, although I try to be fairly objective here – I don’t have any connotations with this equipment, and I actually think it’s a pretty smart product.
Eversolo in short
Eversolo is Chinese, but so cool. Beautifully made, beautifully packaged. Today, the Chinese can make good equipment for good money.

DMP-A6is a streamer – that is, we connect to the network and play from streaming (Tidal / Spotify) or from files-but you probably know this, because there is quite a lot of material on YT, so I will only quickly tell you the question of functionality.
I was interested in it mainly as a transport – that is, we connect an external DAC to it and serve it from the display or phone.
From time to time, I look for something that doesn’t sound far behind the SotM Ultra + SPS500, and is more convenient to work with and doesn’t require ROON.
Unfortunately, Eversolo as a transport plays terribly-that is, with the DACamis that I tested, it actually plays at a very similar level as on the built-in converter.

This only shows how big the role of transport is at some level-with Eversolo DCSy and Lampizators for tens of thousands, they will only play a slightly different role than Eversolo.
Damage.
Eversolo DMP-A6-my opinion
Good, but not to bite.
As a streamer-you connect and play, it’s pretty good for the money. A good ’90s or’ 00s CD will definitely play better, but at least we’re comfortable here.
On the other hand, I felt a huge sense of relief when I returned to my SOTM/Merason combination.

If you are looking for some kind of streaming service to start with and your budget limits you, there is no choice. If you want the sound to be just as good – and cheaper – Bluesound, or even Auralic Aires Mini (an inconspicuous little box) would be a better choice, especially with line power.
Both also have a good app, and as a transport they are slightly better. Only they are not so cool in handling and will not show you the covers.
When you have Eversolo and you’re playing-cool-just keep in mind that by trading it for something better (at least an old Lumina D2), you can still get a lot of quality out of your speakers (unless they’re on the same level as the DMP-A6).
On the contrary, ease of use, the screen is 10/10-it’s been so long since I’ve used an audio device so pleasantly that it’s still only playing as it’s being used.
Character-skinny / neutral / Ostrava-as befits a sabre bone-if you are looking for musicality, timbre, warmth, meat-not this direction.
If you want something to stick out a little and give air at the expense of even sharpening the message-this can be quite good.
