One of my favorite brands could not be missing here.
The Krakow manufactory has accompanied me so often and so often and so often I tried to defend it that I was accused of financial benefits on this account.
Nothing could be more wrong, although I admit that I had the idea to try to help them out into the world – in Poland, few people care about selling this brand. It is more profitable to sell imported products with better marketing facilities behind it.I like good and Polish.
As a society, we are taught that good is Western … Meanwhile, it is often exactly the opposite.

I was in possession longer or shorter: Sol I, Sol II, Sol III, Bright MK4, IOVITA MK2 Signature A Class, Sensei 300B, Origami 6550, Selene 6B4G, Selene 6550 (also with KT150), Williamson, and Sensei 211 I had at home 3 times in various systems. So Sound Haiku is well known to me.
Haiku amplifiers have 2 ailments that make it difficult for them to defend themselves on the market, and at the same time make them highly valued in the niche they hit.
But more on that later.
Haiku Sensei 211
This is probably the most successful model of this manufacturer at the moment. DesignSingle Ended Triode / Set, so the most puristic and a bit more difficult to use.
Does this mean that everyone will like it the best? Of course not.
It is a device for the listener and who knows what he wants from life … TFU a music lover – one who knows how to put his system together.
This amplifier plays very neutral – textures, colors, space and plasticity are its very strong points. Of course, when confronted with a transistor on the cold side, or with D class, it will be much ‘warmer’, which does not change the fact that it is not a device for a person who prefers tube sugaring and rounding.
It cannot be used for ‘lamp’ heating of the system and inserted anywhere.

It will show nice columns, source. It will lead the bass very well. It will provide an amazing live experience. Three-dimensional, naturalness, good proportions, plasticity. It will faithfully recreate the material. according to art.
Haiku Sensei 211 – what columns?
It will not be easy, because 211 needs good loudspeakers, and not those that will have to be led out on the bass or pampered in some band.
You can try something Spendora, something from JM Lab on Polykevlar, he sat down very nicely withAudiophase Flow, great with Audiophase Opium. An interesting choice will be something from Italy that does not eat a lot of electricity, or from the UK. However, look for a bass / woofer from 8 inches up.

I bet a very good result almost in the darkAudio Revival Atalante 5but then you need to take care of a dynamic source. Nevertheless, the character and class of AR playing seem to fit perfectly with Sensei 211.

Albert plays with him onvon Schweickertand before that, a pretty cool duo made withATC SCM40(In this set, however, I would not expect rock sounding, but rather an attitude towards extremely cool splashing and realization of atmospheric albums) – Albert is rather listening.
If you want to play warm – give him loudspeakers with such a signature or a source.
I would not combine it with analytical columns, unless you are on the second spectrum of this hobby and you like surgery (but plastic!) – this can be easily reached with this lamp – especially in an unadapted room with poor attenuation.
Give it to Saber, or even R2R, if you like cool, precise, plastic, dignified as in the Philharmonic, but without a hint of fun or emotions. I prefer something on older bones – then sensei provides sophistication and the source a hint of romanticism.
The source, however, has to be selected for the loudspeakers, in general it is not an amplifier that will raise the sound of the system to the heights by itself (not many can do it), but with the right loudspeakers and a good quality source can be the cheapest, not the worst element of the hi-end set.
Aha: Far from Tannoy on the ferrite – you will be murdered by a studio chic.
Haiku Sensei 211 – My opinion
If I didn’t have Audios, it would be my amplifier for sure – at least for a while. Audions are more dynamic, they play better at a low volume and are more resolution (after all, they are monoblocks).
I tried Haiku Sensei 211 with pre and without. Yes, it is good. Pre usually adds a bit of its own character (although theoretically it shouldn’t), it improves the kick, and those equipped with appropriate lamps can also slightly insulate or improve the readability of the message.
brandedIrisFor me it is a bit bland for this amplifier – I liked the Audions more, while the 211 played an interesting one with my EAR 834L.
Haiku Audio Sensei 211 vs. Line Magnetic
It’s 2 poles of playing.
Neutrality, sophistication, plasticity and perfect proportions are something that Haiku brings to good morning – even on stock lamps.
In my opinion, it will be difficult to fully appreciate it without having a very good, consciously made system, but it can be a stove for years.

Line Magnetic– Both versions 845 and 805 have more sweets and roundings. 805 much more bass and much more weighted, exposed center.
845 and it rounds up and sweetens the top, the bottom is more dynamic, the whole is more contour … it color more women’s vocals (which may be liked), but there is not so much micro-detail on the smykach and the diameter seems a bit slimmed / brightened with sensei.
This disturbs the proportions and naturalness – in the long run, because at the beginning you can like it.
LMs definitely kick the bass hard and go lower. The diameter – which is why we buy lamps is definitely on the Sensei 211 side.
You can feel that this is a device tuned by a musician, not a Chinese one.
Sorry, I had to.
To sum up: Sensei is the severity of design and nothing but restraint in sound and presentation. Sophistication, class. This is not an amplifier for pop and listening to music in the background, but a total entry into the best productions of albums.
Great stuff if you’re looking for one.
Line Magnetic – an attempt to go out with lamps for the people and give them what they think they are looking for – a bit of icing, a larger size, etc. ‘cheapy’.
As I have been importing things from China for several years (total industry, but also hardware), visually it simply knocks in my eyes even the designer lack of panache typical of this country. Although I liked this gold version of the 845 LM-518A quite.
Anyway, the design makes the Chinese and Asians generally eager to buy European equipment.

In the long run in LM, in my opinion, it’s hard to fall in love – love passes when compared with something designed more on the ear, or you will get bored with sweetening / lack of panache …
